How per-minute astrology chat works on Astrovya

Every consultation on Astrovya is a private text chat with a verified astrologer, paid from your wallet by the minute. Here are the exact rules.
1. Add money to your wallet
Top up with UPI from the Wallet page. The balance appears as soon as the payment gateway confirms your payment, usually within seconds.
2. Pick an astrologer and request a chat
Each astrologer sets their own rate per minute, shown on their profile. To start a chat, your wallet needs enough for 5 minutes at that rate, so a conversation is not cut off almost as soon as it begins.
The astrologer then has 2 minutes to accept. If they do not, the request expires and nothing is charged.
3. How billing works
- The first minute is charged when the astrologer accepts.
- Each further minute is charged as it begins.
- If you end the chat part-way through a minute, there is no extra charge: that minute was already paid.
- When your balance cannot cover the next minute, the chat ends on its own. You can top up and start again.
Every charge appears in your wallet history, minute by minute.
4. After the chat
The full conversation stays in My Consultations, and you can leave a rating and review for the astrologer. If something went wrong (for example the astrologer stopped replying), write to support with the chat date and time; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how refunds are handled.
