Five ways to get more from your first consultation

A consultation is billed by the minute, so a little preparation makes it both cheaper and more useful.
1. Have your birth details ready
Date, exact time and place of birth. Save them in your profile and the astrologer sees them the moment the chat opens.
2. Bring one or two clear questions
"Will my career improve?" is hard to answer well. "Is the next year a good time to change jobs, or should I wait?" gives the astrologer something specific to look at.
3. Choose the right specialist
Profiles list each astrologer's skills (Vedic, tarot, numerology, vastu and so on), languages and experience. A tarot reader and a Vedic astrologer answer the same question in different ways.
4. Check the rate before you start
Rates differ between astrologers. The rate is fixed for your session once the chat starts, and every minute shows up in your wallet history.
5. Keep it in perspective
Astrology is for guidance and reflection. It is not a substitute for a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser, and no genuine astrologer will pressure you into paid remedies. If anyone does, end the chat and tell us.
